Delight of my soul

I love you

Bleeding hearts are one of the sweetest springtime plants to me, I adore their pretty little heart-shaped flowers that dangle ever so delicately from their graceful, arching stems.  So charming and delightful.

May your day be filled with whatever delights you!

  2. Happy Friday, Julie. How beautiful!

  3. What a great shot Julie! Love the pink too and your poem. xx

    • Thanks Ruth! It was a bit tricky to capture because it’s growing in such a shady spot and I don’t have a fancy camera that I can adjust for things like that, so I was really happy that I got a shot that turned out nicely. 🙂 Hope you have a wonderful weekend, my friend! xx

  4. I have never heard of or seen this plant before… how beautiful… I do love your words Jewels…

    • It’s a fairly common plant in my area, and I’m not sure anyone else other than me thinks they’re anything special, but I just love them. Thanks so much Bulldog, I really appreciate that! 🙂

  5. Love this! I’m not familiar with bleeding hearts, they’re so gorgeous!

  10. Bleeding hearts are such a lovely gift of spring. I love that they self-sow all over the place!

    • They really are! I love that about them too, I only wish their bloom time was longer ~ along with all of springtime’s blossoms. But maybe it’s their brief bloom time that helps us appreciate them all the more while they are in bloom, such lovely little temporary treasures. 🙂

  11. Absolutely stunning I love these plants you’ve made me want to go and buy some.

  12. I had just a few in my last Indiana garden. I don’t have any here, but I know where I’ll put them next year 😉 Only to decide pink or white!

  13. They’re so beautiful x

I'd love to hear from you!
