Bleeding hearts are one of the sweetest springtime plants to me, I adore their pretty little heart-shaped flowers that dangle ever so delicately from their graceful, arching stems. So charming and delightful.

Thanks Ruth! It was a bit tricky to capture because it’s growing in such a shady spot and I don’t have a fancy camera that I can adjust for things like that, so I was really happy that I got a shot that turned out nicely. 🙂 Hope you have a wonderful weekend, my friend! xx

They really are! I love that about them too, I only wish their bloom time was longer ~ along with all of springtime’s blossoms. But maybe it’s their brief bloom time that helps us appreciate them all the more while they are in bloom, such lovely little temporary treasures. 🙂

I had just a few in my last Indiana garden. I don’t have any here, but I know where I’ll put them next year 😉 Only to decide pink or white!
