I created this blog primarily just to express myself by writing about whatever random stuff happens to come to mind on any given day. Over time I suppose it may morph into something more specific, but for now it's just my various ramblings. Thank you so much for stopping by and wherever your day leads today ~ I hope it's to a happy place! :)

That really is a beautiful thought Julie; and one that I entirely agree with. Your photograph is quite exquisite – many congratulations!

Thanks so much, Hariod!
When I came upon this sugar maple tree in all its autumn glory while I was out running errands yesterday, I was happy I had my camera along with me so I could try and capture a bit of its beauty. They are my favorite tree in autumn for their bright, lively multicolored leaves, and this one was a beaut!
Hope you have a wonderful day! ❤

We do not get a changing of the leaves here…but we do get a chill in the air and the dreaded humidity goes away. 🙂

Yes, ew that dreaded humidity, such a relief when it’s gone. 🙂

I heart Camus, but didn’t know he was a Midwesterner. 😉

I’m not real familiar with his work, but when I saw this quote the other day it made me think “Hm, I’d probably like this guy. 🙂

Camus has always been one of my favorite novelists. As a young man, he wrote a couple philosophical novels in the 1940s. They are relatively short and lyrically written. He also wrote philosophical essays and journalistic pieces. He won a Nobel prize, but was killed in a car crash about 1960.

Happy October! I love that picture! We don’t have any orange leaves yet. A few yellow and some red ones but no orange. And our pumpkins are ripe early and may be rotten by Halloween so we might not get much orange then either!
Thank you for another lovely, day-brightening post. 🙂

Happy October Trisha, our favorite month! 😀
This tree was just stunning, a kaleidoscope really, and had only a few of the orange/red leaves, it was so nice of it to pose for me against the backdrop of greens and yellow/oranges. 😉 It really stood out.
Been seeing pumpkins everywhere here too. Gosh, I hope they’re not all rotten by Halloween…
So glad you enjoyed it, my friend! 🙂

It was very nice of that tree to pose for you like that! Now that’s it’s October and the leaves are changing I wish we could freeze time, or at least slow it way down. But we’ve still got 30 days to enjoy our favorite month. We just need to enjoy it while it’s here and your posts certainly help with that. 🙂
