“This week, publish an image of a sign — from the signs you encounter on the street to more personal, less obvious signs that hold meaning for you.”
I have always viewed rainbows as a sign…
I snapped this one evening last week out in front of the house at sunset. It was a spectacular sight! I wish I could have gotten a better capture of it. It was a full arch double rainbow! Yep, I’m still Seeing Double around here, it must be a sign!
😉
And because everything reminds me of song…
Or of a movie…
😀
Yep, I know, all three of those things are completely unrelated! Guess that’s just how my mind rolls…
Hope you all roll into a wonderful week ahead! Be sure to watch for the signs…

I wonder what on earth the ancients made of rainbows? They are such incredible natural phenomena that one can quite understand how such things may have been attributed to Gods or deities of some sort.
All best wishes Julie.

I know what you mean, ancient peoples were always looking to the heavens (the stars, the moon, the sun, and perhaps even phenomena like rainbows too) as signs or as having deeper, spiritual meanings. Even in our modern, more scientific age, I believe we can can still find those deeper meanings (and signs) in the every day things. I for one, do believe in God, and as such, regardless of the interesting and amazing scientific explanations for things occurring in nature, ultimately ascribe all of the wonders of the universe to Him and His outstanding creativity! 😀
Have a wonder-filled day, Hariod! ❤

Yes! 🙂 But I think sometimes we make the moments magical ourselves by looking at the world a little bit differently 🙂 ❤

I don’t see rainbows very often so it’s always extra delightful when I do! I don’t think I’ve ever tried to photograph one before and this one isn’t a great capture, but it was nice enough to share, and besides… it fit with the theme for this week’s photo challenge. 😉

It really was stunning, I wish the photo showed just how lovely it was. It was so fun to see and such a surprise to see it right out in front of the house here in the city. 🙂

There is always something so magical about a rainbow I think. I have only seen one this entire year! Well snapped, it’s a beauty. Well my friend, my little visit has been lovely and as uplifting as always. The pie was especially delicious! Much love to you Julie xxxx
