Waves of frost, flowing wild and free
the exquisite beauty sweeps over me
As I lay dreaming of an icy crystal sea
I awake to a wintry ocean and my heart fills with glee.

Seriously though, the frost that I awoke to the other morning reminded me of ocean waves. I couldn’t really quite capture the full effect of how it looked though, so you’ll just have to take my word for it. Then again, I suppose to a normal person it probably would have more resembled something actually related to winter, like ski slopes perhaps. I guess in my being only partly normal, it reminded me more of ocean waves. Maybe I’m just longing for the ocean… ❤
