Gently Falling Snow

Gently falling snow silently descends from winter skies

as feather light flurries twirl on the breeze, dancing like fuzzy little white faeries on their way to a winter festival

then alighting ever so softly upon the ground, gracing it with a cold, quiet beauty

while the earth lays asleep.

No photo to share with this one today, you’ll have to use your own imagination, as my camera just won’t do this beauty justice, and trying to snap one will only interrupt the peaceful moment of this gently falling snow.

Wishing you a wonderful day, filled with beauty and grace, and with…

  5. You make the snow sound absolutely beautiful, Julie! Like a duvet on the sleeping earth. I love it.

  6. No photo necessary – your words describe it perfectly. Your work makes me LOVE winter and snow – and I’m not a fan of the season. Probably because I live in Finland. HA!

    • Thanks, Noora! Haha, not many people are fans of the winter season! I enjoy all the seasons, even winter, but it does tend to get rather long here. I love the snow, especially around the holidays, but we didn’t get much this year, so I don’t mind having some now. I must say though, I am starting to get a bit of spring fever about now as well…
