As leftover remnants of a season gone by
winter blossoms adorn barren branches
Awaiting spring’s warm, rich, fertile soil
where they shall scatter their seed-filled petals
in rebirth of their beauty upon the earth.

BRRR! I’m such a wimp I feel like 43 is cold! I don’t think my body could make it through a Minnesota winter. Stay warm and keep finding the beauty!

43 IS cold, but it can actually feel pretty warm to us here after the freezing temps all winter. 😉

Yes, we do work harder to find the beauty in winter. Sometimes I will stand next to a beech or oak tree and just listen to the wind tossing the dried leaves that cling to the branches. Echoes of summer. Have a great weekend, Julie!
