Weekly Photo Challenge: Fresh

With today being the first day of Spring, how appropriate it is that this week’s photo challenge is Fresh.  And what could be a more lovely example of fresh than fresh flowers or be the perfect depiction of Springtime than daffodils?  Well… tulips maybe, but they didn’t have any of those at the market when I was there the other day.  😉

I still would have bought the daffodils though, because they’re so bright and cheerful – they warm my heart like a sweet little kiss of golden sunshine…

    Wow! Great job capturing the daffodils! I love how creamy the petals look (if that makes any sense). I’ve tried taking photos of daffodils several times this year and none of them turned out. Your photo is gorgeous!

      Thanks, Trisha! I took lots of pictures of these, but not many of mine turned out either. I think it’s because the lighting is tricky with their yellowness – if they have too much light they’re too bright and get washed out, and if there isn’t enough light, they’re a bit too dark (I have trouble taking indoor pictures without them being blurry), but I was happy the way this one came out. 🙂 I just adore daffodils… ❤
