But Love

If only I had super powers

I would wipe away all your pain

heal your troubled soul

shine the sun in place of rain.

If only I had wealth and riches

I would supply your every need

fill your cup to overflowing

give you help to succeed.

Alas, I have no super powers

no wealth or riches to speak of

I have nothing else to offer

but my unconditional love.

But love…

is everything.

  5. When you start “tell me about it” with a smile you have just given the most important gift you have.

  6. Beautiful! Unconditional love is a much greater gift than riches or super powers, although super powers would be very cool!

  14. Beautiful in it’s message, truth and wisdom and most profound. If the world practised unconditional love there would be peace, not war, enough food for all, not starvation. Such a simple message but the hardest for man to follow. Thank you.

  15. Thank you, Krys, this was just an honest cry from my heart to someone I care very much about. That’s so true, and can you imagine what a different world that would be? Probably how it was intended to be in the first place – before fear and greed took over mankind’s heart. You’re right, “Such a simple message but the hardest for man to follow.”
