Clover Dreams

 

Lay me down on a soft bed of clover

light scent so sweet

 

I inhale

 

A dainty butterfly flutters past

silent on the warm breeze

 

I smile

 

The comfort of the earth beneath me

the vast sky above

 

I relax

 

Gazing up into blue infinity

wispy clouds float by

 

I dream
