  Haha hi Brad! 🙂 Oh gosh no, it was way too cold to swim – I nearly froze those little painted toes just going in ankle deep, plus there were riptide warnings posted, so swimming would have been unwise, but it was beyond wonderful just being on beach and listening to the sound of the waves…

Ah, that looks so peaceful and relaxing! And just like the ocean! Never having seen the great lakes, it’s hard for me to even imagine them. I’m glad you got away for some beach time. 🙂

  It was,Trisha! I know… Lake Superior totally reminds me of the ocean, I absolutely love it there! I haven’t seen too much of the other Great Lakes, except a bit of Lake Michigan, but it was nothing in comparison to Lake Superior. Thanks, it was so wonderful to get away for a while. 🙂

This is just what I was doing yesterday! We went to the ocean (2.5 hr drive but so worth it!) just for the day, and it was heavenly. Sun, sand and surf!
