Weary of feeling numb and void of creativity, I asked my sister

“When am I going to get my inspiration back?”

“When it’s time.  She answered  Perhaps tomorrow.”

My sister is so wise.

 

That must be why I try to be just like her…

      Thanks so much, Trisha! My sister and I have an ongoing inside joke between us regarding each others clothes – the story behind this one is that I bought that shirt for her for Christmas, and I liked it so much that my mom went out and bought the same one for me for Christmas too. Of course, we had to put them on immediately and wear them on Christmas! 😉

    Beautiful photo Jewels, so lovely to see you with your sis, you are both beautiful women, especially when you smile like you do! This photo is inspiring in itself, your sis is right, inspiration will come back. You appreciate it more when it comes and foes the way it does, it is like the wind of the Spirit, it comes and goes as it pleases to, and blesses us at times sometimes unexpectedly. It is alright to have times of feeling empty, so that we can better appreciate that the source of our inspiration is not necessarily our own, but a gift…

      Thanks so much! And you’re right – the wind of the Spirit blows where it wishes, coming and going as it pleases to – though I like it much more when it comes, 😉 but I know what you mean, thank you for the reminder that the source of our inspiration is not necessarily our own, but a gift. 🙂

    I had a wise mother once. I wish I had a wise sister to get matching shirts with. For now I will just take wisdom from your sister as long as you are offering it. ☺️
