In the stillness of an early winter morning
a dense fog settles upon the earth
clothing all of nature in a mysterious veil of mist
Leaving behind frosty sprinkles
as a garnish to last season’s treats

I love the fog. Deliciously, mysterious fog!
I didn’t have my camera along with me when I came upon these frosty treats, but luckily I got a new phone that takes halfway decent photos, so I was able to capture the moment. And a beautiful moment it was.
May your day be filled with beautiful moments, and with…
✿~Peace & Love~✿
And may wishes of beautiful moments be sent back to you.

How beautiful! I know it can make for treacherous driving conditions but I love freezing fog. It makes everything so beautiful, especially those gorgeous red berries. Your new phone camera did a wonderful job of capturing them too! May your day be filled with beauty, peace and love as well!

I love it too – winter magic at its best, everything all covered in hoar frost, so pristine. Thanks, I’m really excited about my new phone, and its fairly decent camera, now when I don’t have my camera with me I can still get pictures of things I see while I’m out and about. 🙂

Foggy frost makes for great photos – even with a phone, which are pretty amazing these days!

That it does. I’m still waiting for the frost to show up on my windows this winter, the temps just haven’t been quite cold enough so far.
I know what you mean – my other phone was a dinosaur from 2009, so this new one seems pretty high tech in comparison. 😉

Watch out for what you wish for! 😉 Our temps have plummeted. It was 5 last night and zero predicted for tonight. Brrr, winter comes at last!

Beautiful Jewels! I also love the misty fog especially in a forest of tall straight eucalypt trees, it does add a mysterious element to it. I love the way you phrased your prose, It looks to me you creativity never left my inspired friend:-)

Thanks! That does sound lovely. For as much as I love the sun, I love the fog too – I just really appreciate the stillness of it and the sense of the mysterious it makes me feel. I guess I love all weather, really haha!
Thanks so much! 🙂

I love the magic of these sorts of walks. You stumble upon a bit of beauty in the quiet, snow, fog… whatever. Weather is magical the way it effects the ordinary. The picture is delicious!

Me too! This was on a drive actually, and the red fruits called out to me amidst the fog, so I had to pull over for a closer look.
Thanks so much Noelle, I’m very happy with the way my new phone takes photos. 🙂
