Tears of joy fell from my eyes

as I gazed into hers

Hi friends!  🙂

I don’t have much time to write at the moment, but I wanted to send out this quick post to share the happy news that my sweet little granddaughter has arrived!  Omygosh you guys, she’s sooo precious, I love her so much!

She was born via emergency c-section last Wednesday, and boy was that ever traumatic.  I’ll try and share more about it later – right now I’m a bit sleep deprived.  😉

But I’m happy to report that both mother and baby are doing well, and are here at home, gradually getting settled in.

It’s hard to put into words all of the emotions I’ve experienced over this past week, but the one constant is overwhelming love…

      Rachael is recovering well – well… except for the sleep deprivation, but that’s par for the course for every new mother. 😉
      My nerves have recovered, but gosh it was ever an intense ordeal, and I’m just so extremely grateful that they’re both alright. ❤

      Thanks so much Ruth, we’re all overjoyed with our new little one, she’s so dang cute! It feels so wonderful to hold a baby in my arms, and I can’t get enough of her sweet little head – it’s so soft, I just keep kissing it! 🙂

      Thanks so much! She sure took her time getting here – a week and 2 days late 😉 but it was well worth the wait, and I’m just so grateful that she and my daughter are alright.
      I definitely think I’m going to like this Grandparent segment of my life… ❤

      Thank you, Krys! I went easy on you guys with the photos – I have sooo many more haha! I just can’t stop taking pictures of her, typical grandma. 😉
      It was a very traumatic ordeal, I’m just so very grateful that momma and baby are alright. And gosh, all this love… it really is completely overflowing here, I’m glad it’s catching and that you’re feeling it all the way over there! 🙂 ❤
