I created this blog primarily just to express myself by writing about whatever random stuff happens to come to mind on any given day. Over time I suppose it may morph into something more specific, but for now it's just my various ramblings. Thank you so much for stopping by and wherever your day leads today ~ I hope it's to a happy place! :)

I’m hanging in there, still having quite a bit of pain from my surgery and feeling discouraged by my slow progress, it’s such an all absorbing process – basically eating, sleeping and breathing all things related to my knee recovery. But I am finding peaceful, joyful moments in between, such as my sweet, snuggly kitty napping here.
Thanks so much Brad, I sincerely appreciate that, and if I can think of any way in which you could help, I’ll definitely let you know. 😊
Hugs to you too, my friend ❤

Sorry to hear about the slow progress Julie. Maybe that gives you time to rest and plan your next adventures. 🙂 Meanwhile I hope your family & kitty are a comfort to you. ❤

Surprisingly, there’s actually not a lot of time for rest – physical therapy is quite rigorous and ongoing throughout each day, they want me up every hour doing something physical, and by the time I do get a chance to rest, it’s time to go to bed.
My hope is that I’ll be done with all of this, and planning more pleasant types of adventures by late spring. God help me, it’s a long, painful road…
My next ‘adventure’ is to do this all over again on my right knee in February.
But as I said, there are some peaceful and joyful moments in between, and for those I am truly grateful. 🙂

Wow Julie. That sounds like a lot of work. Best wishes for healing and health on both knees.
