I snapped this in the Fern Room on a recent ‘green therapy’ visit to The Marjorie McNeely Conservatory at Como Park Zoo and Conservatory. I can’t even tell you how wonderfully refreshing it was to be amidst the green and growing things…
Wishing you all a wonderful week. May it be filled with beauty and grace, and as always…

Going to a conservatory in the middle of winter sounds wonderful Julie!

It is! I do it every winter, usually in February when the winter starts to feel too long. I actually have plans to go again soon, and to bring Noelle. She loved being out in my garden last summer, so I know she’ll enjoy it too. It’s always wonderful to spend time amidst the growing things 🙂

That does sound dreamy. I think I should schedule a trip to the conservatory as well 🙂

It was, and you totally should. Ours here is free admission too, so bonus! 🙂

I am so ready for ‘refreshing’ Julie. The (so far) one and only frost we had killed a shrub right in the front of my living room window but it is too soon to cut it back so it can bloom again. So I am stuck with dead, brown leaves as my view. Bring on the ‘refreshing’!

I didn’t realize you even got frost down there, Lois. So sorry to hear about your shrub. 😦
Speaking of dead and brown, things are looking pretty dreary here with all the snow melted from the mild temps we’ve been having lately. Spring is a long way off yet, so I’m actually looking forward to some ‘refreshing’ lovely white snow that’s on our forecast. 🙂

Refreshing indeed Julie! The snowdrops are beginning to pop their heads up here. 🐥

Ah snowdrops, how lovely. It’ll be quite some time before anything pops it’s head up around here.

Thanks Trisha! I need to make a trip to the garden center soon too, I’m already getting the gardening bug, and it’s way too early for that yet.
It was really wonderful being surrounded by the fresh, green, growing things. 🙂

What a beautiful shot! The capture of the lines in the leaf and the droplets of water. Yes.
