Took a little drive north this weekend and came upon some hints of autumn color happening up there. It won’t be long now until the leaves start changing down here in the city too. I love the month of October here in Minnesota and all the rich, vibrant colors of autumn’s palette. I’m truly grateful for eyes to see…

Your ‘fall’ looks more advanced than our autumn so far. Lovely bright colours. I try to embrace autumn even though it means winter is coming! Today I am enjoying a woolly jumper and warming food!

This is a bit north of where I live – there’s not much autumn color in my immediate area yet either. Where are you located Ali? I love all things fall and never think about the “impending doom’ of winter. I actually enjoy many aspects of winter here, which is a good thing seeing as it’s very loooong. 😉 A woolly jumper and warming food sounds wonderful!

Thank you for the lovely colourful photo. Autumn lasts about a day here and we don’t get those colours as most trees are Evergreen. Now we are heading into summer, as Spring here is also incredibly short!

Oh I’m still in sandals here too, Lois! I hate having my feet covered and stay in sandals pretty much until it snows haha!

So much color in one shot! We just have little dabs of color here and there amongst the evergreen trees. October used to be my favorite month but after October of 2016, when it rained all but 4 days of the entire month, I don’t trust it anymore!
