I so resonate with the quote above by John Muir.  The photo was taken at one of the many natural areas near my home, so not quite a ‘wilderness’ 😉, but I’m so thankful to have places such as this located and preserved within the busy city where I live.

I don’t usually do much, if any, editing to my pictures, but I edited the photo above a bit to try and add to the feeling of the quote.  (Please forgive my ametuer editing skills.)  Here is what it really looked like, although, still, you just can’t truly ever capture a setting fully…

You also can’t capture the full depth in a photograph – I was actually standing atop a huge hill, which I climbed with my not so new anymore ‘bionic’ knees.  Thankful for them too.  😊
