you are the moon

you are the wispy clouds in a sky of blue

Morning Dreams

I awake

dreams of you still lingering in my mind

After pouring a warm cuppa, I go out to greet the morning

Inhaling deeply, I gaze up

a lovely crescent moon glows brightly against a soft blue morning sky

wispy clouds drift by and I feel my heart lift

Exhaling slowly, I smile

as my love and prayers are caught up and carried away on those clouds

to sail across that vast expanse of blue

over there to you
