Fresh white snow

bright blue skies

a walk in the woods

your hand in mine

 

My desire set aglow

by the twinkle in your eyes

catching my breath

my heart sighs

The moon is out this morning, honey

winking at me from the blue sky

and absolutely everything is blooming!

 

Apple blossom petals are dancing on the wind

carried by the music of the birds chattering away

 

All the green things are neon and florescent

sparkling in the morning sunlight

 

The air is so unbelievably fragrant and fresh

all the glorious scents of spring mingled together 

 

The city hasn’t woken up yet

so all sounds and sights of nature have center stage

 

It’s all so very beautiful, honey

A crescent moon dangles in the blue sky like a sparkling jewel, as dusk settles in and the last remnant of light glows softly on the horizon

It’s too warm for a spring evening, but the warm breeze feels good against my skin, the heady scent of lilacs in full bloom fills the air

and fills me

with longing, lust, and love

Your beautiful eyes shining

reflecting the blue of the sea and sky

gaze passionately into mine

Windswept hair tickles our sun-kissed faces

and laughing, we lie together on the warm sand

making love to the rhythm of the ocean waves caressing the shore

Sensuous Springtime

 

Ah sensuous springtime

when all the earth comes alive

sights, sounds and scents allure

 

Plump pink buds eager to open

unfurl their soft, tender petals

exposing bright blossoms

releasing a sweet, luscious fragrance

arousing my senses

awakening desire

Thoughts of You

 

In the morning just as I awake, there you are, already in my thoughts, mingled in amidst the remnants of dreams and my drowsy awareness of the day ahead.

It’s warm there, in my bed, and in my head, I want to linger there, to immerse myself in all that warmness, and allow the thoughts of you to play out in my mind.  Sweet and sensual.

But the demands of the day beckon, so I open my sleepy eyes and arise, taking thoughts of you with me into the day.

 

And in the evening as I’m falling asleep, there you are, still in my thoughts.  I try to bring you with me into my dreams, in hopes that we will meet there, where imagination knows no limits and our fantasies run wild and free.

Come Away

 

Come away with me my love, on this warm spring eve

let us go out into the garden.

And laughing, let us lie down together on the soft grass

intoxicated by the lush scents of a thousand spring flowers in full bloom.

And intoxicated with each other

let us make love beneath the flowery boughs of the apple blossom

illuminated by the soft glow of May’s Full Flower Moon
