Note to self:
“…whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things.”
Such as the lovely Rhododendrons that burst into bloom here this morning.
~
The above verse is a good reminder for me when my thoughts go wandering off to unpleasant places. While it’s okay to visit those places sometimes, it’s best not to dwell there.
Hope you and your thoughts are dwelling in/on the lovely today…

Whoa, no way! I haven’t heard the word “Rhododendron” since I saw it on a Dell commercial about 10 years ago 🙂 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L7wfHStzm24

I wonder why they even used a Rhododendron in that commercial, it’s not like it’s even all that common of a plant. Funny. 🙂

As they say, you don’t want to move in and buy furniture! Quick visit and get out! 😉
What a gorgeous thing to wake up to! MN is warmer than MA, who would have thought? Our rhodos have several more weeks to go.

Exactly!
It really was a delight to wake up to, and our bush is huge, it takes up a good portion on the corner of the house. I only wish it bloomed longer…
Haha I don’t know if it’s warmer here – after the sunny morning… it snowed off and on all day yesterday! No accumulation though, thankfully.

We’ve been having thunderstorms (seems early to me) but I’d rather that than snow!

We had a thunderstorm roll through here a couple weeks ago and I was so surprised to hear thunder already. Not that I minded… I love a good thunderstorm! And I agree… much better than snow! 😉

Such a great reminder, and very timely for me as my mind has been dwelling on all the things I don’t want to do. 🙂 I love the way you captured the sunlight on the rhododendron blossoms. It’s a lovely photo!

Mine has too Trisha, and the emotional roller coaster ride continues. But it helps to have lovely things to look at. 🙂
Thanks, it was early morning sunlight, my favorite! ❤
