Whatever is Lovely

Note to self:

“…whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things.”

Such as the lovely Rhododendrons that burst into bloom here this morning.

~

 

The above verse is a good reminder for me when my thoughts go wandering off to unpleasant places.  While it’s okay to visit those places sometimes, it’s best not to dwell there.

 

Hope you and your thoughts are dwelling in/on the lovely today…

    What a gorgeous thing to wake up to! MN is warmer than MA, who would have thought? Our rhodos have several more weeks to go.

      Exactly!
      It really was a delight to wake up to, and our bush is huge, it takes up a good portion on the corner of the house. I only wish it bloomed longer…
      Haha I don’t know if it’s warmer here – after the sunny morning… it snowed off and on all day yesterday! No accumulation though, thankfully.
