I awoke on this September 1st to find my morning glories have finally bloomed…
I love thier big, bright blue blossoms! 😍
I also awoke this morning to some brisk temperatures here in my little part of the world. Not that I’m complaining, this is my favorite time of the year! As many of you may already know, I absolutely adore everything there is about Autumn! 🍁
I’ll admit, it’s a little bit of a sad time in the garden, as everything is winding down. Many of my plants are looking quite scraggly and my veggie garden gave up the ghost a bit early this year, as I’ve already yanked out my cucumber vines and my zucchini. But I’ve still got some little jalapeno peppers going and a few tomatoes yet to turn red.
But as the Earth keeps spinning and the seasons come and go, everything in nature is always in some phase of transition and continual transformation, and I do my best to embrace each one. All of life is a series of bittersweet hellos and goodbyes…
So hello to September, and a happy September 1st to all of you! May this new month bring new and beautiful things to your life…

Happy September! 😀
It’s nice and cool here and I am so happy! My husband came home after a half day and he had cold ears! Surely it’s an auspicious time.
My garden’s out of carrots, my tomato crop was the worst ever, but those sunflowers make up for a lot 😉
Love to you Jewels, enjoy the long weekend!

I know oh my gosh don’t you just love this cooler weather?! 😍 Sorry to hear about your tomatoes. I was disappointed with my cucumbers this year, but I don’t think it was their fault; I need to trim back some of my lilac branches because they are shading part of my raised bed, so I don’t think my cucumbers got enough sun. Each year in the garden is different. Thanks Joey, hope you have a great weekend, love to you too! 😊❤

Yes, it is, and I’m very much looking forward to going this year! Planning to go around the end of the month! I’ve been working on a new costume accessory ~ a gnarled walking stick that I’m hoping to transform into a wizard’s staff of sorts. I know, I’m such a nerd. 🙃 Congratulations again on your new book, I wish you much success!

Thanks Lois, happy September, hope all is well in your world! ❤ My garden is just a humble little area, really, but I do get so much joy from it. 😊 Give Teemu and Parker a pat from me, and have a lovely weekend! 💕

Such a gorgeous blue! Autumn is my favorite time of year. Might have something to do with being born right before Halloween 😉

Isn’t it though, just a heavenly shade of blue! 😍 Mine too Dorinda, I only wish it lasted longer; just got to soak it all in while we can…
