Oppressive clouds hang low and heavy
but still your brave Light breaks through on the horizon
Casting the beautiful reflections of your endurance and fortitude
Rays of love and a quiet hope glimmers upon the waters
as a new day dawns

Every dawn is a new opportunity, and isn’t it sad we need to be reminded of it? Beautiful photo, even more beautiful sentiment.

Dawn is my favorite time of the day, though I’m rarely up for it during the summer months. I was grateful to catch this one on Lake Superior when I was up north last week (before I caught this sore throat from hell). The photo doesn’t do it justice – it was pink! 😍
Thanks so much, Joey ❤

Mmm, up north. That sounds nice. Pink sunsets are my favorite, but you know I would rather sleep than see the sunrise 😉

Oh it was so nice, much cooler up there too. It’s been feeling a bit like fall here lately and I’m loving it. 😍
Haha I know you would!

Your words were powerful – and synced so well
With the photo – but even beyond that it was just a great reminder about how love and light are powerful

Oh yes – I came here because I was at Joey’s blog and noticed your comment about your sore throat and wanted to mention two things (and if you already know just disregard )
—
Honey can heal so much – place a tiny bit on the back tongue and throat area and let sit! Just some local
Honey works wonders
And
The old sea salt rinse is still powerful to heal – do it a few times a day and then have some olive oil to
Help restore the area

Oh yes, I’m a huge fan of honey and have been using it regularly since the first signs of a sore throat. Thanks so much for sharing though, it was very thoughtful of you. 😊
