As evening falls
my senses rise
the garden beckons, come
With the city quieted
nature whispers to me through the voices of the trees swishing
sh…
listen
see
smell, feel
taste
Colors deepen
and shadows dance
playing with the fading light that flickers through the foliage
Lush scents entice
The fragrance of a thousand flowers in bloom is in the air
it’s absolutely intoxicating
The warm breeze on my skin
like a seductive caress
awakens the sweet taste of desire
My senses rise
as evening falls

Deliciously described Julie! I felt the coming of evening and awakening of senses with you. Too bad it’s morning! 🙂

Thanks so much, Brad! Haha maybe I should have shared this one in the evening when I wrote it! 😉 I’m glad you were able to feel and imagine the coming of evening even though it’s morning. Have a beautiful rest of the morning and a lovely day, my friend! 🙂
