Bright sunlight illuminates the delicate, white petals of apple blossoms
as they scent the air with their luscious fragrance
Beauty, purity, softness
sweet and sensuous
And I’m filled with longing
For you
to be in my arms
underneath those lovely flower-filled boughs
Our joy overflowing
the beautiful refrain of our laughter mingling together with the sweet melody of the Robin’s song
Come away with me honey
my sweetheart
my love
lets make the most of this glorious, warm spring day

I was such a romantic back then. 😉 I had this image of our saying, “I do” and a breeze showering us with apple blossom confetti a la Disney. Life really isn’t like the movies. The black flies were horrendous – haha! God definitely has a sense of humor. 😉
