Winter’s Warmth

Winter’s warmth is felt

in the orange glow of dawn’s first light

as chimney smoke rises from snow covered rooftops.

I couldn’t believe how orange the sunrise was the other morning.  And despite the snow and the cold temps, it gave me such a feeling of warmth.  See… winter can be warm.  😉

Have a warm and cozy weekend!

    • Thanks so much, Loisajay! 🙂 It hasn’t been quite as cold, we’ve had some milder temps the past couple of days, so all that snow on the rooftops has melted now. But I’m sure there will be more to come as winter stretches on. And on and on and on… 😉
All I want is a white Christmas. ❤

  5. I wish one could predict how a sunrise would look before it happened… there have been some mornings with the most spectacular sun rises with no reasonable explanation why it is…
