But Love

 

 If only I had super powers

I would wipe away all your pain

heal your troubled soul

shine the sun in place of rain.

 

If only I had wealth and riches

I would supply your every need

fill your cup to overflowing

give you help to succeed.

 

Alas, I have no super powers

no wealth or riches to speak of

I have nothing else to offer

but my unconditional love.

 

But love…

is everything.
